daveh0714ParticipantHello,
I have a question. What do I need to do in order to download the demos or make them work. I recently updated to X-theme 4.4.2 and using WordPress 4.5. Pressing “Set up demo content” button leads to a blank page with address: ~/wp-admin/admin.php?
Is there something that I am missing to make the demo content work?

eneroladyParticipantHi,
I’m new at this in submitting a request through this forum. But, I paid for X, and paid for installation to reduce as much as possible this type of frustration. The content for selling the X theme claims the demo content would be included in the purchase, which apparently not the case. My goal is to use the Integrity theme 1; I realize the video image potentially could be a license issue, but certainly a flat image could have been provided as a substitute. In the execution of installing the demo, this would at least allow me then to replace those items with my own content because I will see where to place the replacement content, but since the company performing the installation says that content for the large image was not included the installed product only partially looks like theme 1. Can someone help with this?

Paul RModeratorHi,
Integrity video was made using revslider plugin.
Kindly refer to this link – https://community.theme.co/kb/sliders/
Then you can check their online docs – http://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Hope that helps.

act360nepalParticipantHi, I have run into the same problem. The demo content wont load and it says “We’re sorry, the demo failed to finish importing.”.
I have tried looking at X-themes troubleshooting blog here:
I have tried to increase the memory of my wp-memory limit to 96M. But i am still getting the same error. Can anyone please help me with this.
I cannot give access to the site because it is in my localhost.
Thank you.

Rue NelModeratorHey @act360nepal,
Thanks for updating this thread! I recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */We would loved to know if this has work for you.
To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look? This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your URL, we will be happy to assist you with everything.
To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re still having the issue. Do you still see a blank page? A white screen usually means there is a fatal PHP error. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG mode? You can do this by opening
wp-config.phpand adding
define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true );just above/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */For example:define('WP_DEBUG', true); /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */When you revisit the page with the white screen, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.
Also could you please install the following plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/), then head over to Dashboard -> WP-ServerInfo and post a screenshot of your overall server info. So that we should be able to get an idea.
Thanks!

daveh0714ParticipantDarshana,
Thank you for the reply. Here is the screenshot of the server configuration.
After adding define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); to a wp-config file, the demo content still shows the same dropdown menu with no clickable options (actually with no options at all).
Clicking “set up demo content” still opens up a blank page

RadModeratorHi there,
Is there a way you can setup an online staging site for this? We can’t check locally hosted sites, it’s slower and may take longer.
Thanks!

daveh0714ParticipantI am getting steadily very slow replies for this particular topic. I have been very patient, Is there someone who can help me with this issue?

FriechModeratorHi There,
We did reply the same day of your last post. Is there any chance you can setup an online staging site for this.
In the meantime can you confirm the following on your server configuration?
– Ensure your firewall is not blocking: http://themeco-demo-content.s3.amazonaws.com/x/ – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.Thanks.
May 12, 2016 at 1:14 pm #988246
daveh0714ParticipantFriech,
thank you for the response. The last response to me was from Darshana, on May 6th to a question posted on the 24th of April. Other responses were aimed at other customers.
My website is running online, not on a local machine. I have posted a screenshot of a general server configuration (see above).
For the 3 steps that you have proposed I need some help:
1) where do I find a file that tells me what links are being blocked by the firewall?
2) how to ensure tha cURL is working?
3) where do I find a file that shows the PHP configuration?Thank you
