PLEASE Help

I install demo content but it doesen’t truly install it.
I get Blog, Home, Page and Sample page.

I get to the copy paste part of the tutorial and get nothhing but lines of code for a home page.

I get to the next step in the demo tutorial and I don’t have the customizer at all on the back end.

What I want to install is the integrity 7 version

Also noticing that I cannot install certain plugins. I do not know if these problems are related. It says the location is already taken but I will try going into the cpanel and uploading or through ftp.

It appears that everything is uploading to the hosting but it’s not installing in the worpress dashboard.

Hey Ruben,

Here is a very well written article on Installing Demo Content http://theme.co/x/member/kb/demo-content/. Read it once in case you have missed something while installing the demo content.

Try uploading the plugins through FTP and remember to upload the content in the right directory. You will need to contact your web hosting provider also to check the issue with data uploading.

yes i’ve installed it that way 3 times and still I only have Blog, Home, Page and Sample page.
infact I think that I have them 4 times on my site. Please help I have hostmetro.com as a server and their telling me that there are no problems with the uploading.

Hi Ruben,

Your setup is correct and working.

Remember that wordpress has initial setting which makes the blog page a home page, thus your custom home page will not be in front page. So if you’re expecting to change this setting with your own created home page then you will have to create another page called Blog (or any name). Then go to Admin > Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays > Static Page and select your created home-page for Front Page, and your created blog-page as Posts page.

Then why can’t I get specific customizers or my content showing correctly? Thank you, Though. atleast now I can run with this and hopefully finish this page.

Hello,

I have a similar problem, but in my case I tried to install Ethos1.
I got only one page – sample page which I set it up as static front page just to have something there.
Portfolio didn’t upload.
No pictures uploaded.
I got blogs but no blog page.
I uploaded the demo three times, I always have the same thing.
My website is spoofwoof.com

Please help.

Hi @acincora

Thanks for updating the thread. If you notice this thread is pretty old and everything got several major updates meantime and many features already added/removed. However there is a known bug on some Standard Demo that portfolio and Blog posts are missing. You will get the home page layout only. However you can try our new expanded demo. The bug on standard demo will be fixed on next update hopefully.
