gwickhamParticipantHi,
I am planning on having multiple sliders on my home page. I will have a multi-slide slider at the top of the page followed by single page sliders as you scroll down the page.
I want and am trying to delay the single page sliders animation so that the animation won’t happen until you scroll down and view the particular slider? Right now all of the animations on all sliders are happening as soon as the page loads and when I scroll down to view another slider, the animation has already happened. Can you help with this? Thanks! So far I have 2 sliders, but plan to add about 4 more single sliders with animation on each one. url: http://www.movementvault.com

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! You can enable “Fade In” effect for the column where you are using the slider. So when it comes to the viewport, it will be appear.
Additionally, for future reference we kindly ask that our users not bump their threads as stated in our support policy. Since we answer questions from oldest to newest and bumping a thread makes it appear as brand new, this will only serve to lengthen our response time. Replies in the forum can take up to 24 hours during the week, but oftentimes we are able to get to questions much quicker than that. We request that our users wait patiently while we work our way through the forum as we can assure you that all questions will be addressed as soon as possible.

gwickhamParticipantHey guys! I’ve searched and searched, but I can not find this “fade in” option for the column. Could you help direct me to where this option is located? Thanks!

gwickhamParticipantFreich that was very helpful! Thank you.
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. This enabled the fade in for each individual slide as I scrolled down, but this isn’t actually what I am looking to do. I am trying to get the animation (words and pictures flying in from the side) on each of my sliders to not start until I scroll down to that particular slider. Right now, all of the sliders are starting at the very same time and when I scroll down to a particular slider, the animation is over before I even got a chance to see it.
I basically want to only have the animation for the slide that I am viewing start while I am viewing it. And when I slide down to the nest slider have that animation start and then scroll down to the next slider and then have that animation start. I hope I am explaining this clearly. Thanks for all the help! http://www.movementvault.com

RadModeratorHi there,
In that case, you’ll have to use Revslider since it’s the only one that has animation per layer/element. Then you can enable Stop Slider Out of ViewPort under your Revslider’s general settings. Slider animation will only start when scrolled down.
Thanks!

gwickhamParticipantThanks Rad!
My apologies, I forgot to mention I am using Revolution slider. I looked in the general setting in revolution slider for the “stop slider out of view port” and could not find where to change/adjust that option?

RadModeratorHi there,
How about setting the same background image to the section where the slider is? That should serve as proxy background while the slider is still loading.
Thanks.
