MattHollParticipantHello.
For the Band expanded demo, I cannot find where to change the color up on the main menu at the top of the screen. I checked every area of the customizer and don’t see it there. And Cornerstone won’t select that as a section to be able to change. I think I have found every other area to tweak colors except that one.
Also, the video that is already there with the install does not play on mobile devices. Is it supposed to be this way? It just shows a still image from the video.
And, background images are not really resized properly on mobile devices. A background image that looks great on a large desktop screen just cuts off and has a tiny section showing on a mobile device. Is that normal? You just use the different monitor previews to plan this out and it does not resize based on the device, it just crops?
Also, to get a blog feed into the home page I was looking at the “Tour” section with those three blog posts. I would like a blog feed to show the most recent posts, then have a link to read more blog posts. Would this best be done by selecting a section like that, like Tour or whatever one and choosing “Posts” under “Post type”?
Sorry for the noob questions. I am reading a lot in the manual and here on the forum but still trying to wrap my head around some stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated. The theme is great and fun to mess with. Just gotta spend a bit more time learning the ropes.
Thanks!

MattHollParticipantAnother thing I cannot figure out.
When I scroll down the screen, when I get down far enough, a little pop up comes in from the lower left of the screen. It’s empty, just white. I cannot figure out where that is located in order to either edit it or delete it. It doesn’t show up when in Cornerstone. I don’t see it as a section anywhere. No idea what that’s called to search for information or anything.
Thanks for any help.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
#1] You can change the color of the menu links in the customizer. Please go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Links – Text and change the Navbar Links and Navbar Links Hover using the color pickers.
#2] Normally in most mobile browsers, videos will be automatically disabled. Videos are bandwidth hogger and this is why it is disabled. As a replacement, the video image poster is displayed.
#3] To fully understand how background images in section works out, please check out this thread: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/section-background-image-2/#post-691126
#4] The Tour page is the blog index, if you want to display recent post in your homepage, you can make use of the Recent Posts element in Cornerstone.
#5] This little white screen is a content dock. To know more about this, please check this out: https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-content-dock/
Hope this helps.

MattHollParticipantThanks for the help.
Will read up on the others, but for #1, I guess I didn’t word it clearly enough. I already tweaked the menu colors. Please see attached. I cannot figure out where to change that background color on the thin strip at top behind the menu. Looks like it’s RGBA with some transparency showing through to the background.
This is from the Band expanded demo.
Thanks for any help with this.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the clarifications. The gradient color came from the background image. You can clearly see it here:
http://demo.theme.co/band/wp-content/uploads/sites/25/2016/04/bg-lights-red.jpgIf you want to change the background color, you may add a custom css like this:
.x-navbar { background-color: #fff; }Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

MattHollParticipantThis CSS had no effect. I put it into the customizer under Customizing/Additional CSS and saved it and reloaded the page and it’s not different.
I turned off the Under Construction plugin so that you can view the page to see what I mean.
It’s the background color behind the menu at top. I’d like to use RGBA to have some transparency as well. It looks like there is a color already set up somewhere that is also using transparency.
I have replace the default background image but saw no color setting there.
Here’s the site:

Thanks for any and all help.

MattHollParticipantThanks for the help.
Yes, that’s my site.
I have tried changing the navbar to every setting and it keeps the same color. I see it has transparency. But where is that color set? I assume it’s an RGBA color somewhere, but I cannot find where to change it. I’ve looked in every section under the customizer and I can’t find it. Help?

MattHollParticipantI found it! It’s in the Global CSS in the customizer/custom.
Thanks!
