    Hi – I searched previous topics and wasn’t able to find the solution that I can do myself for this. I am unable to save any changes I make in the customize setting, and I also am unable to add new images. Regarding the customize issue, I am able to make changes and it appears in the preview, but they do not save. When I go back to the customize setting, changes I made revert back to the previous version. In addition, I am unable to add images, so that I cannot add a favicon in the customize setting, or add any new images when using Cornerstone. When I try to add images, the media library is empty (even though I know there are images there and are being used in my website), and then when I try to upload the image, I get an error message at the end. Everything is up to date, and I tried deactivating all plugins to see if that was causing the issues (the problems were still there even after deactivating all plugins). Please let me know how I can fix this. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    I can not add a new page in CS, I get this message on all new pages :

    You are currently editing the page that shows your latest posts.

    Please disable all plugins except those come with x while we are troubleshooting. Change permalink settings from Custom to Post name.

    Thanks! I will try importing the customized demo content again. I did see that link before and tried it, but I must have done something wrong because my website content changed (stack demo format disappeared), making me rebuild my site.

    I changed the permalink setting from custom to post as suggested but am getting the following warning:

    Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home4/…/public_html/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 641

    Sorry, all non-X plugins and Cornerstone have been deactivated. Cornerstone is still activated, since my website needs to be up.

    Hi there,

    Please export customizer settings and then reset it, you can do this under X addons page and check if it solves the issue.
    After reviewing the information provided above, I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

    Thank you. I did contact my host a few days ago and spoke to a support member, and they indicated it was likely an issue with the theme. However, I will try exporting and resetting customized settings and will contact them again if it doesn’t work. I will circle back if issues persist or if my host is able to solve the issue. Thanks again.

    Trying to change links to social media. It appears to save when I’m on the customize page, but when I exit the customize page, the changes aren’t saved. I also am unable to add images to upload an image for the favicon.

    Hi there,

    There is no error, but I’m certain there is a problem with your hosting. Please contact them and let them check it, especially the uploading issue. It seems like it’s refusing the requests and it just loops.
