Hi Guys,

I’m trying to replicate the independent sidebar that you can achieve in Icon on a blank template, but in Renew.

I have succsesfully added a new overall template, and a corresponding template withing the renew stack, I have also added the independant sidebar template from icon to renew, and removed the IF function because I know renew doesnt have the option to select. I also copied the icon’s version of sidebar.php file across and used that instead of the native renew one.

All of this still doesn’t achieve the look that I’m wanting.

The sidebar comes in, but always in the wrong place, trapped in section or footer or between the footer and content etc.

Also the page title always comes in at the top.

I suspect that the stylesheet may be the last thing that I need to alter to achieve an independant sidebar right, but I’m not sure where I can find the styling that the various .php template files call, so I can compare the icon to the renew?

Is this something you can help with?

Hi,

Regretfully stack features are not interchangeable. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
