Currently I have a user as an editor. They are unable to see the Addons section where the API key, extensions and things are because of their restrictions. How can I let them have permissions for that? I have the plugin “User Role Editor” installed.
March 28, 2016 at 12:43 pm #855375Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
March 28, 2016 at 12:44 pm #855377?? Not having an issue, just wanted to create a role and have them be able to edit the addons section.
March 28, 2016 at 8:07 pm #855872I see. Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
