chrishdunnParticipantHi … I’m using a child theme and have made edits on content-the content.php to control how posts are displayed.
I have now added a custom post type and need to make some changes to how these posts are displayed. I’m not sure what the best way of achieving this is …
Do I create another copy of content-the-content.php for the custom post type? If so, where do I put it?
Or do I use If statements in the current content-the-content.php to refer to particular post types?
Many thanks,
Chris.

RupokMemberHey Chris,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.
