    Quoting my post in the above thread.

    So what suggested in that old thread worked for my today.

    “Only thing is that on single post type page it shows home>blog>post name instead of home>post type name>post name.

    It would be better to show home>post type name>taxonomy name>post name. So the >blog> would be changed to post type name, and an addition to the taxonomy name would be nice too, so the whole breadcrumb appearance would be home>post type name>taxonomy name>post name if that’s making any sense.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for posting in
    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look to your custom post setup? We can add the post type on the breadcrumb but adding the taxonomy might be tricky because a single post might belong to multiple taxonomy. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    I’ve tried to check this for you, but get a “Server said: Login authentication failed” error when trying to connect to FTP, can you double check the provided details?

    You can add that code to your child theme’s functions.php with your preferred changes. Unfortunately, since there are so many custom post type and taxonomies, we can’t provide customization for each. If you have some advance breadcrumb plugin, you can simply add the code within that code block. FOr example, SEO Yoast provide breadcrumbs feature and that can be place in the above code. And have your SEO plugin manage the breadcrumbs of yoru post type and taxonomies.

    Thanks Rad. I know the code responsible for breadcrumbs from my first post. I just wanted to make it right so it tells users where they are. Forget about custom taxonomies. Let’s just make it right for the single post in the custom post type. It currently shows home>blog>post name. I want to change it to home>custom post type name>post name.

    I added this code that you can change,

    Please change the post type and its labels, and change the ID of 7372. It’s the ID of your custom post type’s home page.
