ryanschaefer41ParticipantHello! I’m having trouble with the custom order for my rows in “The Grid” extension. Below the headshots in the attached screenshot is a disclaimer that says:
“You can easily arrange order by dragging and dropping images.
* Custom order will only works if you have media library as unique post type source.”Also in the screenshot is the post types I’m selecting. As you can see, I have only Media Library selected, which should enable me to drag and drop and set a custom order. However, when I update, it’s not showing the images in the correct order.
Here’s the site: http://kglobal-dev.com/fla. This particular example is the top row in the header. (As you can see, the images aren’t in the same order as they are on the backend.) I’m happy to provide login info if it would help.
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for the help!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for providing the information. I can confirm that this is a bug in the latest release of TheGrid plugin. This has been reported to Themeone, the creators of the plugin. Once they’ll have it fixed, it will be updated and will be rolled out in their next release update.
Thank you for your understanding.

ryanschaefer41ParticipantDo you know how long that will be? This website needs to launch very soon and our client is firm on the order.

ryanschaefer41ParticipantIs there a way to use event.preventDefault() for this? The page loads with the images in the correct place and then jumps to the old order when it finishes loading.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! The items are loaded the same as its order when gets generated by the Grid plugin. event.preventDefault() wouldn’t do much to resolve this issue. We will contact the creators again regarding this bug.
Thank you for your understanding.

ryanschaefer41ParticipantHi — I was just in touch with Themeone and they said I’m unable to ask for support from the plugin author without a premium license. The only way to get in touch with them is through you guys directly. They’ll only answer theme authors. I asked and they said nothing has been reported about the order issue I’m having. Is there any way to follow up or get in touch with them again? This needs to be resolved quickly — the customizability of The Grid is one of the main reasons I wanted this theme for this particular site.
Thanks again.

LelyModeratorHello There,
I have forwarded this to our developer who handles communication with third party plugin author. We will let you know once we have an update on what we can do to speed up the process for this. Just note that as much as we want to speed up the process, we still depend on the author of the plugin. Thank you for understanding.
