When customizing the theme through the Custom > CSS entry, the code is gone when I return to the tab, even though the effects are still visible. I can only assume the code is still there–now permanently added. Is this right? Is this code just piling up, the newer taking precedence over the older? Isn’t this something that will need cleaned up? Is there a way to keep the code I have added easily accessible (and easily cleaned up)?
March 27, 2016 at 7:17 pm #854554Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! That’s not a usual behavior. Your code should not disappear unless you have moved it somewhere like your child theme’s style.css file. Something is most likely causing the issue.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
March 27, 2016 at 7:30 pm #854566I exited all the tabs and went back in. The code is showing now. Perhaps it was a browser issue (I’ve been having them). I am very relieved that the code stays there (or at least is supposed to)! I’ll let you know if the problem comes back and can be duplicated in another browser. Thank you for your time.
