    Hi there,

I am using the custom 404 extension provided by X. I noticed however that only the header (with a header text that is linked to the actual custom 404 loads) when an error page is entered (as opposed to the loading of the entire page itself).

    Appreciate any help rendered!

    Hi There,

I just checked again and I am getting the same page as Lely on http://www.legalfab.com/

but it is working on http://legalfab.com/

So you need to connect your hosting service also to the adress http://www.legalfab.com ; at the moment it is connected just with the version without www.

Now regarding the 404 issue. Please see attached the screenshot of what I am getting as a 404 page on your website.

It is different from the original page from X “Oops! You Blew the Internet.” so the plugins seems to be working.

You also can find more information about the Custom 404 Addon at your knowledge base at: https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-custom-404/

If you need any help regarding the 404 Custom Extension, please be more specific and if possible provide a screenshot so we can understand better what issue you are facing.

Let us know if you need further help,

    Thanks,

    Joao

    Thanks very much Joao.

Yes, the same screenshots loads up on mine as well.

    However, is it intended that:

    a) the link to the custom 404 appear (as seen in the screenshot); or
    b) does the entire custom 404 page load.

My intention was for option (b). On that, I was wondering whether there is a certain work around to do (i.e the user is forwarded to the entire custom 404 site as opposed to only a link to the custom 404 appearing).

    Hope that is clear.

Thanks very much x theme for your invaluable help.

    Hi there,

Please let us know which one is your custom 404 page?
This page https://legalfab.com/test or this page https://legalfab.com/index.php/error/

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. So the issue is you have assigned the page (https://legalfab.com/index.php/error/) as custom error page but it’s not showing rather the default 404 page showing, right?

In that case we need to check your backend too and for this would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi there,

    You have 49 active plugins.
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Hope it helps.

Thanks Chris. I deactivated all the plugins except Custom 404 and I am getting this error message still:-

Again, it loads as a post and the whole page does not load. There also seem to be some CSS error.
