I’m not sure why, but it seems that my site is randomly ignoring some CSS. You can see in the screenshot that the heading text is not showing my Google font but a plain font (left) and that the pop-up form isn’t displaying the background but is transparent (right). I haven’t detected a pattern to this. My screenshots are from a mobile device, but it’s happened on desktop as well.
You can view the staging site here: http://staging.four-group.flywheelsites.com/.
April 7, 2016 at 10:01 pm #872233Hi There,
Thank you for the URL.
Are you referring to headers like Get Ready!? Upon checking, you have set your headers to use LUSH font. But then there’s an error loading this font. See attached screenshots:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) staging.four-group.flywheelsites.com/:1189 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < https://use.typekit.net/c/ab2739/1w;lush,1,ZSW:W:n4/l?3bb2a6e53c9684ffdc9a9…21cb56247c3eff8b36f94d57eac9f1465d931396f1758d94981412f3f152a5bcd13ae7dda4 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
You may check in with your hosting about the font loading issue.
Please also clarify the issue regarding popup form. Check the screenshot’s of what I saw. Then give us description on screenshots on how should it be so we can help you better.
Always,
XApril 8, 2016 at 2:52 pm #873246The font loading issue is strange. I thought it might be a Themeco problem since TypeKit is a bundled plugin. I sent a message to my host as well. We’ll see who can solve the problem first. 🙂
The form seems to load fine at times and not at others. In the screen shot you attached the background loaded, but the font did not (again, probably related to the font issue above). Sometimes it loads with a transparent background like in my screen shot here.
April 8, 2016 at 2:53 pm #873248Oops. Try this.
April 8, 2016 at 3:08 pm #873273Okay, figured out the font issue. I’m working on a staging site right now, and TypeKit uses the main domain, so it will work when I push the site live.
April 9, 2016 at 3:32 am #873871Glad to hear that you were able to fix this.
