    Hi, when I try to post the url of my site to Facebook or Twitter it shows only the code [cs_content][/cs_content]… where should appear the description

    I applied the code from your link, it appeared the Excerpt option for pages now.

    I wrote and excerption for my home page.

    It still doesn’t work, when I try to share my page on Facebook it keeps showing me those nasty codes instead.

    Can you please check to see what I am doing wrong?

    Hey there,

    Please disable Yoast Social Integration. The setting is under SEO > Social.

    Hi there,

    You have Yoast plugin activated. If you want to use this plugin to manage the content, please disable ‘open graph’ from Customize -> Social. You can check this plugin documentation here http://kb.yoast.com/category/42-wordpress-seo

    Or you can disable this plugin, keep ‘open graph’ option enabled to display the excerpt when you share the page.
