AnonymousHi,
Sorry. It’s http://aestheticsandbeauty.com. Thanks again.
February 25, 2015 at 10:36 am #215045Hi there,
Thank you for the URL!
It seems you are using fullwidth layout. Please select Content Left, Sidebar Right under Layout and Design > Content Layout in the Customizer and try selecting the custom sidebar for category again. If it doesn’t help either, please provide us with the WordPress login credentials so we can take a closer look?
Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks!

Thanks for the logins!
Upon checking, your layout for blog archives is set to fullwidth (see: http://prntscr.com/6a268d). Please change it to Use Global Content Layout under Blog > Archives in the Cutomizer.
Also, it seems you are using an older version of the theme while your X Shortcodes plugin version is latest. So, please update update your theme to the latest version.
Cheers!

AnonymousHello,
Thank you so much! It was very simple solution. Forgot that category pages are archives. Whew!
Have a great one!
February 26, 2015 at 5:24 pm #216170You’re most welcome. Glad you got it to work!
March 2, 2015 at 3:20 pm #218723Hello,
I followed up all the 4 step on reply #150309 (I used new code from #196190 for step 1). I tried your codes, but I have no sidebars on the single post even though I have main sidebar and custom sidebar working with category, and my post content goes on the right side of the page. Can you help this issue?
My current setting is
-
integrity stack
-
Content Layout: Content Left, Sidebar Right
-
Blog layout: Use Global Content Layout
- Archive layout: Use Global Content Layout
-
I add social sharing(that is from portfolio) into the bottom of single post page. Is this because the social sharing are added directly into the content?
Sidebar function with parent/child page structure works great without above custom adjustment and sidebar inside pages are still working fine. Category level sidebar also works fine. However, single post level sidebar under category has an issue on my site.

Thanks for creating a new topic for this.
March 4, 2015 at 4:23 pm #220452I’m having the same problem as mpark0701. I used the updated functions.php code and the wp-single.php code earlier in the thread and it’s pushing the post content to the right and leaving whitespace on the left. The category sidebar is working fine. Please help…
The URL is http://thefbgpeach.wordforhire.com.
Thx!
