    – OpenSSL support should enabled.
    – Secure connection (https) should enabled.

    Does that mean I need SSL certificate for the website?

    Hello,

    The hosting account now has “allow_url_open” enabled and it isn’t blocking connections to X and I keep getting the same message.

    I tried to re-validate the theme (as per one of your suggestions on another thread of the forum), but couldn’t and now even my copy of the theme appears as unregistered and I can’t validate it (I get the same message).

    Can you please advise how to proceed. I am working on a website for a client who has control of the hosting so it is hard for me to make changes. Can you please clarify what’s the best long-term fix for this issue as I’ve seen some mixed messages on this forum and you keep avoiding to explain what is the source of the problem.

    Hi,

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    The latest version numbers are

    X theme v 3.2.5
    Revslider Version 4.6.9
    Visual Composer Version 4.3.5
    X shortcodes Version 3.0.5

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Thanks

    sounds like a server is not responding in time due to heavy traffic, but can someone please verify this is the case for me? …

    array(1) {
    [0]=>
    array(2) {
    [“errors”]=>
    array(1) {
    [“http_request_failed”]=>
    array(1) {
    [0]=>
    string(71) “Operation timed out after 0 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received”
    }
    }
    [“error_data”]=>
    array(0) {
    }
    }

    Hi there,

    Yes, due to heavy traffic. And I’m getting that randomly too.

    Thanks!

    I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried the steps mentioned above but so far, I’m unable to get this working correctly. I’m only able to see 2 extensions. I can provide login information is it helps.

    I get the same problem… I added &x-verbose=1&force-check=1, and this is my result.

    array(1) {
      [0]=>
      array(2) {
        ["errors"]=>
        array(1) {
          ["http_request_failed"]=>
          array(1) {
            [0]=>
            string(71) "Operation timed out after 0 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received"
          }
        }
        ["error_data"]=>
        array(0) {
        }
      }
    }

    Can you help?

    Hi Chris,

    It happens on my end to but have to retry force check over and over to make it work, please do the same πŸ™‚ . And if still not working, you may start a new thread provided with your admin and ftp login credentials in private.

    Just to add a solution I found. Even though I had validated my theme I needed to go back in and save it again.
