Anyone having an issue with WordPress SEO (Yoast plugin) and Cornerstone? Cornerstone stops working when this plugin is enabled. It works again when plugin and deactivated. I am using the latest version of everything:
X-Theme: v.4.0.4
Cornerstone: v.1.0.3
Wordpress SEO: v.2.2.1July 7, 2015 at 10:19 am #323256Hello Steve,
We request you to kindly don’t create multiple tickets for the same topic. We are working the original ticket you created.
Thanks for understanding.
July 7, 2015 at 10:24 am #323261This wasn’t meant to be a ticket. It was meant to be a forum discussion addressed to other users to see if they had experienced the same thing. But I’ll keep this in mind in the future.

August 12, 2015 at 7:48 pm #357635Hi Just wondering if there is a solution for this?
August 12, 2015 at 10:39 pm #357769Hi guys,
We can only see what’s the real issue if we could check it. Though, my cornerstone and seo yoast works perfectly so possible that it’s specific to your sites only.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks!
November 2, 2015 at 12:41 pm #649638I am currently having this issue as well. I had never used Yoast SEO until now, and I noticed the same exact behavior. Is there an update on this issue? If not, I would be willing to provide my credentials for someone to take a look at.
Thank you!
November 2, 2015 at 2:33 pm #649803Hello Brian,
Thanks for the update!
Are you using Cloudflare? The Cornerstone builder takes place on the front end, so sometimes Cloudfare tries to cache its resources. This can cause stale data to be loaded. To resolve this, you’ll need to disable Cloudfare when the builder is in use. This won’t effect front end performance at all.
1. Log into CloudFlare and navigate to “Page Rules”
2. Add a new rule using this URL pattern: *.example.com/*?cornerstone=1
3. Under custom caching, enable “Bypass cache”
4. Turn Performance “Off”If you’re still having issues editing a page, you may need to login to Cloudfare again and purge the cache.
Please let us know if this works out for you.
November 3, 2015 at 12:40 pm #651096Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, no it did not work for me as I am not using CloudFlare. Could it be anything else?

November 18, 2015 at 12:47 pm #670393I just updated to Yoast SEO 3.0.1 and have the same problem with it messing up Cornerstone. Disable Yoast SEO and Cornerstone works fine.
Now I need to figure out where all my hours of SEO work has gone…
November 18, 2015 at 12:59 pm #670412Charles,
Yea, something happened with Yoast update. Now it is not working, however, cornerstone still is. Strange days.
November 18, 2015 at 5:40 pm #670732Hi guys,
I have Yoast SEO installed and cornerstone works fine. I’m not able to help you guys if I’m not able to see the actual issues you’re having. It’s best if you could provide logins so we could check it and there is no way for me to see it on my own installation.
Thanks!
November 18, 2015 at 5:58 pm #670751This reply has been marked as private.November 18, 2015 at 6:01 pm #670753You could also just put cloudflare into development mode I believe.
