Hi there! I’m building my new site with X4: http://divi.ondemandmarketing.net/
When I’m editing text content, I’m not getting the toolbar I’m used to – most of my commands are missing, which sort of forces me to know how to hand code everything – which I don’t really know how to do.
This is what my WP content toolbar looks like in the standard editing view: http://screencast.com/t/xIrjR2Etja
This is what it looks like in Cornerstone: http://screencast.com/t/TNE4uqE2BYRYou can see there’s a massive difference in what’s available. I’ve added some addition menu items via TinyMCE, but even with the plugins all disabled, I still don’t see all the toolbar items I usually use.
How do I get access to all my features here? Thanks!
Theme, WP, etc. are all current.May 31, 2015 at 11:27 pm #288161Hey Jennifer,
Here’s how it looks in my test site (see http://prntscr.com/7bqu14). Please give us access to your WordPress admin so we could check your setup. It is best that you disable all third party plugins first so it would be easy for us to investigate.
Thanks.

Thank you for providing your login credentials.
While under the visual editor try to click toolbar toggle to show extra formatting before editing the page in cornerstone.

It will then also show in cornerstone text editor

You can make the WYSIWYG window bigger by clicking and dragging the triangle on the lower right.
Hope that helps.
June 2, 2015 at 8:23 am #289799Hi! I tried what you suggested, and I do get more tools, but by no means can I access all the tools I have in the standard WYSIWYG Editor.
These are the tools I have in the standard WP WYSIWYG: http://screencast.com/t/6qjwi5nGfvmN
I made sure to follow your instructions before switching to Cornerstone, and I still only get this: http://screencast.com/t/RNrx97slT – quite a big difference. Is this because the editor in Cornerstone is so tiny?I knew that I could make that CS WYSIWYG window bigger by dragging, but I can only make that window taller, not wider. And it’s very narrow – makes it quite difficult to see what you’re doing if you have body copy of any length/substance.
Would love to see that editor pop open in a lightbox that gives you access to it in a larger window. I believe Visual Composer did this. It’s just too tight a space over there. And maybe if it opened in a bigger window, I’d be able to see all my tools! 🙂
Thanks again! 🙂
June 2, 2015 at 9:24 pm #290481Hello Jennifer,
The editor features for cornerstone are made minimal but you can still add html like links manually. We are taking a note of all the feedback’s we are getting and constantly passing that information to our development team for further implementation.
Thanks!
June 8, 2015 at 3:04 pm #296166Thanks for passing it along to development. I think so many people out there use themes because they are not coders (like me), so the more of the toolbar we can access from within Cornerstone, the more efficient (and happy) we’ll be.
Thanks again!
