Hi, I have searched the forum and found several articles on the issue, but I still can’t get this to work.

    My environment:
WP install, theme and all plugins are up to date. Running on wpengine.com. I have set up a multi site with WordPress MU Domain Mapping

    My symptoms:
When I enter editmoede with Cornerstone the interface do not load properly. I am not able to upload images to the media library through the Cornerstone interface (it works fine from the WP dashboard).

    My resolve so far:
If I disable WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin Corner stone works just as expected. With WordPress MU Domain Mapping enabled i experience the symptoms above.

Through my search on articles I find that there are several different solutions to seemingly different triggers to the same problem. Where should I start? Can you have look at my environment? I would be happy to give you login credentials

    Cheers

    Hi Christoffer,

I think, no one has made it yet through domain mapping. Basically, it’s just masking subsites with domains. There are many downsides to it, including session/cookies sharing is likely not working, path and URLs may still point on the main domain, and front end editors will not work properly. Just like this.

This was discussed before, and it’s the domain mapping plugin/feature’s fault. Cross-domain is not usually possible, and it’s sharing multiple resources between them.

I’ll investigate it again with your setup and the current domain mapping version. But I can’t guarantee a solution.

    Thanks!

I’ve migrated to single site install, and everything is working fine. Found through Google searching and forum searching that this might be a bigger hurdle than I am willing to try to climb…

    Cheers anyway.
