Let’s be bold and say that many of us needs/wants an UNDO button for Cornerstone edits.
Accidentally deleting a section and not having that possibility is just … stressing.Your product is so great, and i can even imagine why a web-based editor doesn’t have an UNDO function.
But please find a way.
😉July 27, 2015 at 11:16 pm #342442Hi There,
We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
July 28, 2015 at 5:32 am #342734I have seen your above answer before, and i must say it’s very unsatisfying.
This shouldn’t be discussed based on the amount of interest.
It’s an essential function/tool, which is sadly missing.
Everybody makes a stupid mistake now and then, and to pay so heavily for that is just .. sad.July 28, 2015 at 6:18 am #342773Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread and our apologies for the misunderstanding. We do look at feature requests by level of importance as well as by the amount of interest the feature may receive. When there is something that is essential like you mentioned we do try our best to find a way. We have a number of things that we are working on and are lined up, so we do put things on a list and tackle them by level of importance. I can’t promise implementation or a timeline at this time but if we can find a way to do it, an undo option is definitely something we would consider. Hope this clarifies. Thanks!
August 17, 2015 at 4:26 pm #361533I would agree – I am just starting made a silly error – and now i have to start over – very frustrating
August 17, 2015 at 7:34 pm #361661Thank you for your patience. We are looking to see if there is something we can do for our future releases. We apologize but don’t have a workaround as of now. Thanks again for understanding. Have a great day!
August 22, 2015 at 2:54 pm #366229Apparently not a lot of people request an undo button. I have a HARD time believing that. Maybe themco could imagine that since its such a fundamental component not a lot of people think they need to mention such an obvious component of a program. Kind of like a save function or an open function undo is a basic function of a reasonable program. I imagine there are lots of people who wish they had this option. Its just common sense. I’m astonished you do not already have this option. If you really want to be a viable software you NEED to reconsider this option. SMH!
August 23, 2015 at 1:13 am #366439Hey there,
Thank you for your feedback. This has been added to our list of feature request so our development team might add it in a future release. Please stay tuned for updates.
September 17, 2015 at 6:59 pm #394406Adding my support for this feature – an UNDO button is urgently needed!
September 17, 2015 at 11:16 pm #394575Already noted.
October 21, 2015 at 3:10 pm #634613Please make an undo button. I have to completely redo it all or close cornerstone without saving, then reopen and start over. So silly. If you have already made something, please tell. 🙂
October 21, 2015 at 3:46 pm #634655I accidentally just removed a whole section and saved before realizing it. Please make a redo button? 🙁
October 21, 2015 at 3:57 pm #634675Your feedback is noted too Carolyn.
November 11, 2015 at 8:55 pm #661950Really needed and it’s unbelievable to missing this!
