Hello support,
I’m trying to edit my home page with cornerstone but I’m receiving a error message:The webpage at http://site1.zstreambox.com/WDP/?cornerstone=1 has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
I already clear my cookies and cache but still not working.
Need to mention that this error happens only with my Front page, I’m still able to edit other pages with cornerstone without any problem. Can you help me please?
I have the latest version of WordPress, X theme, and plugins installed.
Website: http://site1.zstreambox.com/WDP/Thanks!

January 6, 2016 at 12:28 am #733662Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Please check your security settings. Redirects shouldn’t usually happen when there is something setup to do so. In most cases there shouldn’t be a need. You may also want to check with your host to see if they have any performance/caching or security features activated for your site on their end. They should also be able to see what is causing any issues.
Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!
January 7, 2016 at 2:15 am #735490Well nope that didn’t fix it… I build the front page from 0 again.. and it works.. until I try to edited after a couple of hours.. I’m sorry but this is not good.. I have problems with my boss because this problem, I need you to please check what exactly is happening with the front page… this is the 3 time I’m re-doing the full page.
Please log in in to the site and check…I’m not sure.. but seems like the problem start when change the name to the exact old name of the previous page.. for example I had: Home <– I create this page using cornerstone… but suddenly some hours later This page can’t be modify on cornerstone it says “Redirect loop”… So I create a new page using cornerstone.. and name it.. Home 2.. great it works.. I close it, open again and everything seems ok.. I edit the menu.. and change Home 2 for Home..
Everything looks great.. but can’t edit with cornerstone. 🙁Thanks.
January 7, 2016 at 2:55 am #735521Hi there,
The redirection error could occur if file permissions aren’t set properly. Please try following this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/site-keeps-showing-this-webpage-has-a-redirect-loop?replies=5
You could also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thank you!
January 7, 2016 at 5:55 pm #736630Thanks,
I don’t know what exactly was the problem if server / theme / or configuration
But I just change the permalink structure from “Post name” to “Plan” and everything is working now. What I’m sure it was not a conflict with a plugin, file permissions or server configuration.
Thanks.

February 16, 2016 at 1:29 pm #798553Same exact issue just happened to me. The only way I could fix it was to change the Permalink Settings to “plain”. I was only having an issue with the home page, but really need this to be fixed as all my sites have to use the Post name structure.
Thanks for your help!
