Hello,
I installed the X theme on an existing website. In Cornerstone, when OI select a “Text” object, it doesn’t show the options like all the other object types do.
This is happening in Chrome, FF, & IE.

WordPress Version: 4.2.2
Theme Version: 4.0.4
Cornerstone: 1.0.3Thanks,

July 6, 2015 at 1:57 pm #322478Hi John,
Would you mind opening a new thread regarding this issue on your site. then share us your admin credential and FTP so we could take a closer investigation on your site.
Don’t forget to set it as private reply.
Before sending us the details try to test for plugin conflict, You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thanks.

July 6, 2015 at 6:58 pm #322662Hello Micah,
Thanks for the admin credentials. First, please try to test for plugin conflict, You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If after the plugin test the issue still persists, please uncheck the visual editor option under Users. You may refer to this link:https://community.theme.co//forums/topic/cornerstone-text-columnize-elements-broken/#post-322652
Hope this helps.
July 7, 2015 at 2:11 pm #323515I disabled all plugins and tested the system before I ever posted this support request.
It made no difference.
I just disabled them all again and disabled the visual editor, tested Cornerstone Text object and it’s still broken.

July 7, 2015 at 2:16 pm #323520Correction, it’s a conflict with CKEditor.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress/
Considering the installation base and that a lot of developers use CKEditor, it seems like a huge oversight that Cornerstone breaks with CKEditor installed.
Is this something you will fix?

July 21, 2015 at 2:27 pm #336180Hi there,
This is Alex, a lead developer on Cornerstone. I just wanted to chime in here and regretfully inform you that we won’t be able to support this plugin. The CKEditor plugin aggressively removes the TinyMCE editor without a graceful fallback or conditions. This could cause issues with dozens of other plugins that rely on TinyMCE. CKEditor replaces a core WordPress feature with an opinionated alternative. In these cases, it’s generally considered the developers responsibility to support other integrations. It looks like they needed to do this several times to support major plugins like NextGEN Gallery. It is pretty much a dead plugin as nobody is maintaining it. (https://github.com/ckeditor-for-wordpress/ckeditor-for-wordpress) So at this time we have no interest in pursuing compatibility. You could try opening an issue on their Github issue to encourage any future maintainers to support Cornerstone.
