Hey there 🙂 I’m currently trying to save a part of my page as a “Template Block”, so I can easily add them into other pages.

Right now I’m only able to save a complete page as a template – but there’s no way of including that into another page (only overwriting pages in full).

Is there any way of saving parts of a design as a template block (with Cornerstone)?

P.S. “GREAT WORK!!!” doesn’t even cut it… you guys did an amazing job with the new interface. By far the #1 theme on the planet.

I’m trying to do the same thing. As a workaround, I also tried copy/pasting the raw code in the old-school editor, but anything done outside of Cornerstone gets lost. Any help is greatly appreciated. And, yes…well done!

Thanks for kind words. Regretfully, saving an specific section of a pages is still not possible on CS. What you can do for now is to re-create that specific section on a new page and save it as block. This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

That would be a great feature … came here looking for an answer to do the same thing. I have a perfect section all set up and has custom css applied to it and saving it to move to another page would be awesome .. recreating it will be a pain … but I also understand that it is probably a difficult feature to implement.

Agreed, this would be a significant feature. I’m using X of three of my sites and about to change another two sites to X. I’d use this feature on all fives sites. So, 5 votes from me…
