I was woking on the home page of allsightsolutions.com in Cornerstone and clicked to look at the options in settings, then went back to layout and all of the layout and content was gone! All I saw was “welcome to cornerstone” etc just like when the site was brand new. But on the public site all the content was still there as expected. I logged out of wordpress, quit my browser (safari) and then reopened and logged in fresh to see if that helped. It didn’t. The public site was still populated and cornerstone was still brand-new, no content.
So I went back to the wordpress area and looked at the code there to see if it too was blank. It was not, I changed a few image URLs from atsherpa to allsightsolutions (this was what I was trying to figure out in cornerstone) and published. That fixed the original issue of images not showing but when I went to edit in cornerstone it gives a warning and still even after that it looks brand new.
What caused this and can I get it back in cornerstone?
I’m using wordpress 4.4.2, X theme version 4.3.4 and cornerstone version 1.1.3

Did you move or migrate your site to another server and or domain?
Thanks.
March 31, 2016 at 6:13 pm #861635Yes, we staged it at atsherpa.com and then moved it to allsightsolutions.com when it was completed.
March 31, 2016 at 7:55 pm #861721Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! Do you still have access to the old site? You need to follow this guide to make sure CS will work upon migration.
https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/
You can also use a plugin like duplicator.
Hope this helps – thanks!
April 1, 2016 at 3:31 pm #863059But we’ve many many changes to the site on allsightsolutions.com since it was moved from atsherpa.com. If I do that stuff at the link it will reset the changes back to the way the site is now at atsherpa.com right?
It was all working fine at allsightsolutions.com for several weeks. Why would it just stop working now? We’ve been using cornerstone and everything. It was all working fine until I went to the CS settings and back to layout. Why would it blank out all of the sudden like that?
And, If I choose NOT to do that process, can I just start from scratch in CS and lay everything out fresh or will it reset on me later?
April 1, 2016 at 4:20 pm #863109I have another issue related to this too now… I decided to just start from scratch with the home page to save time instead of all the back and forth. I saved the code from the home page to a new page in wordpress called “AllSight Solutions Home Page” and told wordpress to use that page as the home page so that I could safely made changes and experiment with “Demo Home” which used to be the active home page.
Everything was going fine when I laid out the top section but when I started working on the about us section I had issues saving it. When I click the save button in cornerstone I get the big green success it saved message but when I click the home icon and try to go back to wordpress it says I haven’t saved any changes yet.
I reserved in cornerstone and got the big green success message again but when I try to exit to wordpress, again I get that message that nothing saved. So I clicked to exit anyway just to see and hit the update button in wordpress, but the changes I made in CS aren’t showing on the public site, and when I go back to CS the changes are gone from there too.
This is the URL I’ve been changing and working in CS with: https://www.allsightsolutions.com/demo-home/
This is actually what was happening before CS reset to start too. It seemed to resolve itself at one point and then started doing it again.
April 2, 2016 at 3:36 am #863599Hello There,
Thanks for the updates. Please keep in mind that you are not supposed to switched between WordPress editor and Cornerstone editor. Any changes you’ve made outside of this editor will not be save and could even potentially corrupt Cornerstone data. If you need to change something as you have mentioned before (I changed a few image URLs from atsherpa to allsightsolutions ), this very step you’ve made invalidates Cornerstone data integrity. You should have use a 3rd party plugin search and replace to change the image urls.
And by the way, X 4.4.1 and Cornerstone 1.2.2 are now available! This release contains several bug fixes and we’re quite excited about the new features, so be sure to check out the changelog. Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Please let us know how it goes.
