deanmathParticipantOk I need your help.
If I build a page from scratch as the wordpress home page. Everything ok. If I change boxed to full it breaks and cornerstone no longer works.
If I deactivate launch that website plugin I can edit the page with cornerstone, save the template. Create new page edit with cornerstone and save it all good.
As soon as I make that page the wordpress frontpage I can no longer edit it with cornerstone.
Login details are above.
As soon as the page is not the home page it can be edited with cornerstone

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Unfortunely we cannot provide support for issues caused by third party plugins.
This issue is not common and should not happen if you are using X
Please contact the plugin developer.
Thanks for understanding.

deanmathParticipantOk. Seems it has nothing to do with that. I own the VPS server. Its an 8 processor 16Gb ram. It virtually has nothing on it.
I gave up trying to fix it. x10 layouts could not work it out either. Whenever a page is a home page for some reason cornerstone wont start.
Having given up I completely deleted the cPanel environement the MySQL DB and started out fresh. Installed WordPress, X theme and only x theme plugins.
Im using integrity 1 demo. A few customizer changes. Logo etc. Cornerstone will not load to edit this page.

deanmathParticipantA really easy test is to just make the about page the front page and straight away you can edit the page that was the frontpage with cornerstone. Change the page back to being the home page and you cant and this is a totally clean install of wordpress and X.

RadModeratorHi Dean,
It should be okay now, just need to reactivate the theme by switching them. Though, have you manually edited your home page through the editor? Cornerstone data and layout are gone, you may re-import demo content.
Thanks!

deanmathParticipantAs I said above I have made an empty page the wordpress frontpage (About) and I am editing the actual home page as just a page in the site. Even when you edit the About page (current frontpage) cornerstone says it took too long to open and scripts maybe causing this.
It is not fixed at all. There is a problem and I need it fixing. It cant go into production where whenever the home page needs editing another page has to take its place so that it can be edited in cornerstone.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I am another staff investigating the issue. I’ve tested all the three pages and I was able to load Cornerstone. The notice that the page is loading is loading late; “Loading the preview took longer than expected. There may be script conflicts on this page.” appears some time and there are times that this doesn’t appear. Please don’t be alarmed by this message. This is just a notice and you do not have to worry at all. Please check out my screenshots of Cornerstone loading in the 3 pages;

deanmathParticipantNo its doesn’t.
As I had previously stated.
If you change the page that is your first screen shot above to the home page and then try to edit with Cornerstone it does not work. I have even just done this again myself and it DOES NOT WORK!!!
If I then make the About page the home page, then I can edit the page that is your first screen shot with Cornerstone.
It needs to be fixed and your message above does not help at all. Please see previous messages.

RadModeratorHi there,
I see, thanks for the clarification. In that case, please provide your FTP login credentials as well. There was an internal error when editing home page in cornerstone. Maybe it can’t handle the content due to memory limit.
For the meantime, please add this line just above or below WP_DEBUG in your site’s wp-config.php
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );Thanks!

deanmathParticipantThis is a brand new page. There is another site with X and cornerstone on this VPS server it is also using integrity demo 1 and it has no problems at all with loading the demo home page.

RadModeratorHi there,
I can edit the about us with no problem. The issue is when setting it them as home page.
I checked and it’s weird, try setting “Ready Set Dance” as your home page, then edit it in cornerstone while browser developer console is open. You’ll see the internal server error, and the whole page isn’t loaded (hence cornerstone javascript as well). But checking through FTP, the error isn’t logged on debug.log file, I deleted it and retried it and debug.log isn’t created.
Two possible reason
1. Site has internal cache in which we can’t reproduce error in real time
2. FTP credentials is for a different site.Would you mind checking it too? It still won’t generate debug.log at /wp-content/, it’s already configured within wp-config.php
Thanks!

deanmathParticipantHi,
Finally. The VPS tech support guys have spent a fair amount of time. Here is the response.
There are a few mod_securities entry in the main apache logs such as:
[Mon Mar 13 08:29:13 2017] [error] [client 112.202.174.87] ModSecurity: Output filter: Response body too large (over limit of 524288, total not specified). [hostname “readyset.dance”] [uri “/index.php”] [unique_id “WMW9p8ovAcEACn7wVYYAAAAA”]
Basically for some reason this install of X theme is blowing the limit. When they disabled security it worked fine.
What they don’t know is why this install of WordPress and X theme is different to any others as same security settings apply to the other installs and in one case a site was even created from the Integrity 1 demo and it has never had this problem.
They said this is a rare instance???
I have asked them to increase the limit as at the moment the security is turned off.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
If keeping the website like this for you is ok, that is great.
Otherwise I would recommend you saving your pages as Cornerstone Templates, Saving your Customizer Settings and starting from a fresh WP installation.
Let us know your thoughts.
Thanks
