Hi guys.
Really sorry to bother you.
I’m struggling to get Cornerstone to work. I’ve tried all the usual tricks like disabling all third party plugins, increasing my memory cap…etc I’ve gone through and done everything possible to not bother you guys but here I am… begging!!All I’m getting a spinning icon while trying to load a page already built in cornerstone. It won’t even let me build a new page in cornerstone.
Is there anything you guys can do. I have about 5 licences with you guys and there all working perfect bar this one.
Thanks

March 4, 2017 at 12:45 am #1394157Hello There,
Thanks for updating in! I did some further investigation. I noticed that you are using PHP version 5.3.24 and WordPress 4.7 requires at least 7.0 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:
Dear host, I\'m interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and I was wondering if my account supported the following: - PHP 7 or greater - MySQL 5.6 or greater - The mod_rewrite Apache module - HTTPS support Looking forward to your reply.
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
March 6, 2017 at 1:29 pm #1396682Okay Thank you.
Ive just spoke to my hosting and apparently im on an old version/plan of their hosting services. They cant upgrade my PHP until i re-new my hosting in a few weeks time so i i guess i will have to wait until then.
thank you anyway for all you help and pointing out the potential problem.

April 3, 2017 at 1:29 pm #1428229Hi Joao
Ive managed to update my hosting and wordpress etc but im still experiencing the same problem.
Ive just tried to install a new theme but keep cornerstone plugin and im getting the same Spinning Buffering Wheel, even on a non-X-theme theme. Could it be the cornerstone plugin that causing this an not the xtheme after all?
im so confused. mainly because you guy manage to get it to load on your end but on my end it just making me look like a tit. im running an iMac so i know its not comp. ive tried to get the cornerstone to open in other browsers but still no joy.
Cheers
