I tried to install yoast SEO and it seemed to be working until I checked one of the SEO statuses on a page. Then cornerstone disappeared and other areas of the site were disabled.
The problem went away once I disabled Yoast.
Yoast and cornerstone do not seem to work well together?
I am currently running all latest versions of all assets.
My url is http://www.abante.me/wp-admin
I will private message the login credentials.
I run a two server ElasticBean stateless setup on AWS with an RDS server and graphic assets on s3.
I have to add files to the server through my local dev environment and then push up the files via a new GIT image when needed.
However, the latest versions of the plugins are installed. YOAST SEO is currently disabled.
I am currently working on content, so if you will reply to this thread as a courtesy, I’ll stop my updates.
Thanks!
Brian

Thanks for posting in and giving us your admin credentials.
Can you try to activate YOAST plugin and then apply the solution suggested here:https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/cornerstone-and-seo-yoast-plugin/#post-600063
If that doesn’t help, can you please leave the YOAST plugin activated so we can see the issue and if there’s any console error.November 3, 2015 at 6:23 pm #651474Thank you. I double checked and the option was not checked in my site. I have left the plug in active as it does not seem to have any ill-effect on the front-end of the website.
November 3, 2015 at 6:30 pm #651482I have noticed that the only page it seems to affect is my home page. Other posts and pages seem to be working properly.
November 3, 2015 at 6:52 pm #651492After some further testing, I have found that I can duplicate the error–at least on my site.
I can create a page and utilize Yoast SEO, just fine with cornerstone.
Now, if I change my home page to that newly created page, I get the erroneous behavior. Unfortunately, if I return the home page designation to the original page, the erroneous behavior persists on the new page.
Based on the solution you gave earlier, I believe it was some to do with the idea that the permalink for a home page is altered by design and the same issues persist.
I will keep the plugin activated for you as well.
Thanks for your help in all of this!
November 4, 2015 at 1:49 am #651824Hello Brian,
Upon further checking, I found the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).swipebox is not a function
It is coming from the instagram grid you have entered inside the text element.
Please check that out. You may consult the code/plugin author about the error.Hope this helps.
November 4, 2015 at 1:42 pm #652699It certainly does. I removed the instagram shortcode from the text page and all was well. I’m contacting the author and will report back in case anyone else is having a problem using Enjoy Instagram Pro and Cornerstone.
November 4, 2015 at 4:15 pm #652875Sure Brian. Feel free to let us know how it goes. Cheers!
