December 9, 2015 at 3:40 pm #699840Hi Sussex,
Noted that, we also included a gallery plugin that you could use. It’s Envira gallery, and it’s bundled from the latest update.
Cheers!
January 6, 2016 at 1:14 pm #734623I’m finding the Envira interface to be a bit glitchy, and has essentially no design customization features. Most people like to display images on their websites. I feel frustrated that X does not offer an easy to use and elegant way to do this. There have been awesome Lightbox plugins out there for years, some of which conflict with X because of jQuery issues. How is this not a priority? The simple slider that is on Cornerstone is somewhat useful, but inefficient for displaying large, beautiful images. I like X a lot, but this is one of those “basic” things I don’t understand why is not better handled.
Thanks for you work.

January 6, 2016 at 5:03 pm #734922Hi John,
You can also try the essential grid with a custom grid. Due to many available features available out there, we’re trying not to re-invent same features. And it’s more efficient for avoiding future conflicts.
As for jQuery conflicts, it really depends on naming, and there is no way for us to detect all naming to avoid conflicts. As much as possible, we prefixes our naming with x_. But some library won’t allow that, hence conflicts are usually happen between libraries.
Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for writing in.
Would you mind opening a new thread to prevent the thread to be so long and share us also of the screenshot of you want to achieve so we could easily understand it.
Thank you so much.
January 10, 2016 at 10:17 pm #740243Sure.
January 10, 2016 at 10:37 pm #740265Thank you.
January 20, 2016 at 3:11 am #754506We need a decent gallery for Cornerstone.
The Envira Gallery is nice, but not very user friendly. When selecting images from the media library, it uses the large images as thumbnails making it very very slow.
January 20, 2016 at 3:58 am #754570Hi @errrwin,
You can set the dimensions of images you want for both normal gallery display and for lightbox display under your Envira Gallery settings (see: http://prntscr.com/9sfvqk). For more information, refer to Envira Gallery documentation: http://enviragallery.com/docs/
Thank you!
January 20, 2016 at 4:21 am #754592No, I meant when selecting images for a gallery. 🙂
But I found out what happens: Envira uses the WP thumbnails (the thumbnail set in media settings) in the selection screen. If you have that set to 0x0 as I had, it reverts to full size.
I’m now regenerating thumbnails, should be better now.
Thanks for replying this fast by the way. *thumbsup*
January 20, 2016 at 4:24 am #754598That’s right. You can regenerate thumbnails using a plugin such as Force Regenerate Thumbnails. 🙂
Cheers!
