Cornerstone pages may have corrupted due to the earlier issue. Can you please do the following.

Create full back-up of your site using this plugin – (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/)

1. Install Transient Cleaner – https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner
2. Navigate Dashboard -> Tools -> Transients
3. Set Clear Expired Transients -> Enable
4. Set Clear Expired Transients -> Clean Now
5. Set Remove All Transients -> Enable
6. Set Remove All Transients -> Optimize Afterwards
7. Set Remove All Transients -> Clean Now
8. Save Changes
9. Recheck your Cornerstone for functionality

Hi there,

Thanks for writing back! I have checked your setup and it seems your migration didn’t go well. Cornerstone stores the page data separate from the final content by using post meta. If you are doing a search and replace, you will need to make sure that your script will work on post meta, and can handle serialized data. This plugin for example should be able to handle that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

You can follow our Migration article for other suitable options and to avoid any incompatibility issue..

I’ve migrated a lot of wordpress website before, and I never had troubles like that !!! I’ve done all your recommandation : I tried several times, different ways, and it still doesn’t work !

– I updated all the plugins, themes, extensions, etc. on my website : the website works, no problem, and cornerstone with it

– I followed all your steps on your website to migrate cornerstone, https://community.theme.co/kb/migrating-cornerstone-from-site-to-site/

– I moved wordpress, and all the files by FTP

And still the same ! Cornerstone doesn’t work after the migration, for no reason !

AND : I have a UTF8 problem with the characters !

I’m very disappointed by your product I bought ! I’ve never seen that ! 2 days for a website migration !!!

Hi There,

Everything seeems to be working fine on your website.

Except seems like that the serialized data of your pages previously built with Cornerstone got corrupted, what is a big problem because you cannot edit them now.

I think I might have a solution for you considering your situation, go to your old website that I hope is still live on the server and save your pages as Cornerstone Templates and than re-load on your new site. This might be the easiest solution at this point.

In future situations, I suggest that you do the process of migration following the guidelines.

I used your solution (with Cornerstone Templates) and… it worked ! The pages are working, Cornerstone too… Everything seems ok !

Thank you very much for your advices, but I have to say that I process of a lot a migration of this website with and without following the guidelines you gave in your website, changing a lot of settings.
