I just moved my website to his new domain (files, sql, etc.) and I changed the URL in the licences manager of themeco.

I got “We’ve checked the code, but it doesn’t appear to be an Cornerstone purchase code or Themeco license. Please double check the code and try again.” when I try to enter my themeco licence in my Wordrpress administration.

Is there a time to wait before the update? Do I made a mistake?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! What’s the current version of your X theme & Cornerstone plugin? Make sure that your X theme is v4.4.2 and Cornerstone is v1.4.2.

Refer to our update guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/).

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks!

The problem is not fixed with the update.

It’s even worse : I can enter my activation key on the Cornerstone plugin. Every time I click on the button, it redirect me on the X-addons page (where there is no cornerstone).

    Well…

    Hi there,

Could you please try the following workaround.

    1. Revoke your API key from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.

    2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

    3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

    4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

    5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

*** If you are using X you don´t need to validate Cornerstone it will automatically be validated once you Validate X.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

    Joao

    Hi there,

You don’t need to validate Cornerstone. Once you validate X theme, Cornerstone will be automatically validated. Please head over to X Addons section within your WordPress backend and re-validate your X theme.

    This should fix your issue.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks!

    Hi There,

I Noticed you uploaded the whole folder “X_package” with the folder “X” inside.

Could you please try deleting this folder / Cornerstone Folder and uploading just the “X” Folder that is actually inside X_package instead and follow the steps above once again?

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Joao

@joao ok ! It seems to work : now Cornerstone is activated but I don’t see it in the wordpress toolbar, while I’m on my website (not in the WP admin)

    Hi,

Based on exploring your installation I have suggested you to perform the steps above.

Please follow all of them and let us know the results.

It is important that this time you upload just the X Folder and not X_Package I believe this way your theme and Cornerstone will be able to “communicate” and register as it should.

    Thanks,

    Joao
