tarun454ParticipantHello,
I am running the website at the URL http://core40.com/newsite and I have to make it live on this location http://core40.com/
But when I move the files on root directory then I notices home page which is coming with cornerstone is lost. I tried twice and both times it is lost.
I really need to make the site live, can you let me know why the home page cornerstone data lost after moving? I revert back the backup and can you help me to make it live without any issue. I can share all the details with you in a private section. Please response me asap.
Thanks,

ZeshanMemberHi Tarun,
Thanks for writing in!
It seems you are not migrating your site correctly. Please refer to WordPress codex article on Moving WordPress to find the proper steps of migrating a site.
To migrate Cornerstone data only, refer to our knowledge base article on Cornerstone Migration.
Thank you!

FriechModeratorHi There,
Please redo the migration process, and follow the instruction provided here: https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/
Specially the Migrating your database process. Make sure you supply also the correct site path, not only the domain.
Or if the issue is only the Cornerstone pages, you can save the page as template and then upload that template to your live page.
Hope it helps, Cheers!

tarun454ParticipantHello,
Actually this does not help.
I already tried the Migrating as per the instruction and I change the domain and site path too. So after that still I was unable to see the cornerstone data.
Now, if you open the Front:home page from admin which has the cornerstone data, basically not available to edit so how can I sa e as template.
Would you please do that for me as I have to migrate from core40.com/newsite to core40.com
Please don’t couple of hours to respond as it is high priority task.
Thanks,

Paul RModeratorHi Tarun,
I am a different support staff, login provided above is not working for me too.
Did you use Wp Migrate Db in migrating?
Please review our migration guide again – https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/
Thanks

ZeshanMemberHi Tarun,
Thanks for the login credentials!
I’ve checked your live site and Cornerstone is working perfectly fine (see: https://cloudup.com/cGhaDefiInF). Would you mind confirming the issue again?
Thank you!

tarun454ParticipantThis is working fine for now.
