Hi guys–
Cornerstone wouldn’t load on my site so I made a backup folder of the old plugin and reinstalled the plugin which crashed my site (server error 500). I’ve attached the debug log. There are some errors all the way at the bottom.
site: hairbyphonatip.com
Worpress version: 4.4.1Activity over the past 24 hours: I had my site on a subdomain and then moved to main domain. Was working fine. Then I activated several plugins with site working fine. When I went to edit the site in cornerstone, cornerstone would not load (just went to the website page, not the editor). I renamed the current cornerstone directory and reinstalled cornerstone and that’s when it crashed. My hosting provider (a2 hosting) renamed the cornerstone directory and then the site worked fine. There must be a problem with the cornerstone plugin.
I will send you in a separate private message the wordpress login information.
Thanks for your help. Nick

January 28, 2016 at 12:34 pm #769196Hi there,
Thank you for writing in! Please clear your site’s cache first and then disable your Cache plugin and other third party plugins. Via FTP delete the Cornerstone plugin and if you’ve saved any backup of Cornerstone, save it in your system and delete it from the server. Now via Dashboard > X Addons > Extensions re-install the Cornerstone plugin.
Let us know how this goes!
January 28, 2016 at 12:41 pm #769214Do you mean to clear the cache in my browsers or are you talking about clearing another cache?
would you mid giving me some instructions on how you want me to clear my site’s cache.
Thanks

Yoast SEOJanuary 28, 2016 at 9:05 pm #769812Hi there,
You can activate them one by one while checking which cause the issue. Then let us know, we’ll provide some recommendation if it’s something we’re capable as support 🙂
And please start with Jetpack, disable its Publicize and Sharing modules. They are known to cause issue on cornerstone builder.
Thanks.
January 29, 2016 at 1:00 am #770066It seems as though Yoast is causing some issues. I was editing the yoast fields on each of my page’s main page after clicking “edit” (not edit in cornerstone). After entering a focus keyword on several pages, my wordpress started to slow down significantly with keystrokes not being recognized for several seconds. Shortly thereafter, Cornerstone would not load when I tried to edit pages in cornerstone.
I deactivated all my plugins and after a few minutes, I was able to get Cornerstone to load up again. Some of the images had to be reloaded on some of the pages. But for the most part, it was functional.
Have you heard of anything like this? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
January 29, 2016 at 4:03 am #770284Hi Nick,
This is something new. Yoast plugin should work fine with X and Cornerstone. I’m not sure but if Yoast is conflicting with WordPress itself, there might be a problem with it. Have you tried contacting the plugin provider with regard to this issue?
Thank you!
