Since the latest update I can no longer edit my pages using cornerstone. I even tried to create a blank test page and drag elements onto to, but they don’t drop in place. I read about some problems, so I disabled SEO Yoast. Still no go. I have had to edit several pages using just the plain text, so all the cornerstone tags are in there, I want to be able to load and edit these again when there is a fix available. Of the 3 pages I edited with just plain text, 2 of them still show the “Edit with Cornerstone” option and one has now lost that ability. This is troubling. Please advise. Thanks.
December 22, 2015 at 10:16 am #717578I just upgraded WordPress, X theme and Cornerstone and noticed this problem as well. I saw another post on the forum about Jetpack being the cause. I disabled Jetpack and can now use Cornerstone again.
The problem, however…is that I use Jetpack. So I’m hoping there’s a fix for this really soon.
December 22, 2015 at 10:43 am #717619Hi @moebis,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hope it helps.

We’re still working on it, stay tuned 🙂
December 22, 2015 at 10:52 am #717632Oh yes, forgot to mention we use jetpack too. It’s a no-go to shut it off because we need the social sharing. All I can say is cornerstone worked before, and now it’s not. I haven’t installed any new plugins, and we have updates to do on the site, but I’m left in a holding pattern for the time being.
December 22, 2015 at 5:26 pm #718039Hello There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict first so we can see the root of the issue.
Jetpack is a plugin that uses different modules, it could be the conflict is originating from one of the modules. You can activate your jetpack again if it’s the problem, and start turning off its module one by one until you find what causes it.
Always,
XDecember 23, 2015 at 3:59 am #718508Yes it is Jetpack. I just confirmed it. I also confirmed that cornerstone works when the Sharing module is inactive. But you already know this, I don’t understand the point? I still need that Sharing module active and it worked before your update which has now broken functionality. When can we expect a fix to undo the bugs you introduced in the latest release?

We’re still investigating the issue with the Jetpack modules. Please refer to this thread for more detail: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/cornerstone-update-issues/
Thank you for understanding.
December 23, 2015 at 8:06 am #718791Hi there!
If the above response was for me, I don’t have jetpack installed.
Thanks!
December 23, 2015 at 8:56 am #718838Hi there,
Please update your theme to latest version.
Let us know how it goes.
December 23, 2015 at 9:16 am #718873I updated the theme, no change….
December 23, 2015 at 1:16 pm #719118Hi there,
Thank you for the detailed information. This type of issues may occur because of the corrupted files during the updates.
I would advise deleting Cornerstone plugin entirely via FTP (“/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone”), then you can install it again through your WordPress backend (X Addons -> Extensions).
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!December 24, 2015 at 3:23 am #720000Yea!!!!! That seems to have worked!!!!!!
