Hello!
Cornerstone is said to work with any theme. I am trying to use it with Conversion Cats theme. However, when I create a page, the Cornerstone tab is not available (even though the Cornerstone settings are set to be used on Pages & Posts). When I force the cornerstone editor to show up (by typing /?cornerstone=1 after the URL), there are no page templates that seem to be working with Cornerstone. I get the error “Uh oh!
An unidentifiable error is preventing the live preview from loading. Switching to Skeleton Mode.” — and I can not build my page. I have tried to create a new page template, however my Php is not very good… and I was not able to make it work.I checked in with Conversion Cats theme support about making a new page template that uses the standard WordPress editor, and this is their reply: “Unfortunately, we have SET the standard WordPress page to use our custom editor configuration and it is not possible to exclude the page / s that uses a different page template to use the default wp editor.”
Is this theme not compatible with Cornerstone? I am able to load the editor when creating posts, but I really need to be able to edit pages in Cornerstone. Is there any way to get this to work?

Thanks for posting in.
Cornerstone is compatible with any theme as long as the theme follows WordPress standard, and if the theme author decided to exclude it then that is something we can’t control.
Example, their theme doesn’t use WordPress standard editor and we all know that most of the builders are dependent to WordPress standard editor. They created their own way of processing content with custom editors. WordPress standard editor has filters, hooks and many features that are used by different builders. With the custom editor, there could be some features that aren’t implemented.
It’s not the builder faults if the custom editor has limited features that are expected to be existing just like from standard editor. Even if we try to fix it, it will not work since it’s just a plain editor.
You may try other page builders.
Thanks!
