After doing some updates, my cornerstone UI is suddenly missing most of it’s icons. I saw a number of other posts regarding this issue. I tried removing X theme and cornerstone and reinstalling both. That did not work. The lower row of action buttons only displays the save button and the media target option buttons.

I have disabled all of my plugins

The strange thing is thing is that I tried accessing my site from another computer via a different ISP and machine and most (but not all) of the icons were visible in cornerstone. I have tried multiple browser and cleared the browser cache on all of them.

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. It seems the Font Awesome icons are not loading due to 404 error. I can’t even access this directly with absolute URL – http://www.passaconaway.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/fonts/font_awesome/fontawesome-webfont.woff

So let’s check the directory to see if the fonts are exists there. If it doesn’t exists then you know something missing and you need to re-install Cornerstone. But if you can see them but doesn’t load then it’s permission issue. Please try resetting your WordPress files and folders permissions. The correct settings can be found at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/05/08/proper-wordpress-filesystem-permissions-ownerships/

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!

    Hi There,

I was unable to change the permission of these files:

    http://www.passaconaway.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/fonts/font_awesome/fontawesome-webfont.woff
    http://www.passaconaway.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/fonts/font_awesome/fontawesome-webfont.woff2

Could you please contact to your hosting provider change the permission to 644?

    Thanks.
