    Hi,

I’m having an issue on a multisite network where whenever I try to download the ConvertPlug Addons I get this error:
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
    On page https://…../wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=bsf-extensions-14058953

I’m logged in as super admin and the theme is activated.

    Steps to reproduce:
    Site > ConvertKit > Resources > Addons

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Please install ConvertPlug in the main domain ( https://woofyweb.com ), instead on the sub-site ( https://kachina.woofyweb.com )

And please activate your X theme and validated it for the main domain. Validation is done through the root domain of a multi site.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I’ve done this now and seems to be working.

How will the licensing work now?
I’m planning to use X for multiple sites, which will eventually have their own domains, I have already got 2 X licenses for 2 of the sites, I wasn’t planning to use X on my main domain for a while yet.
Do I only need the main domain licensed temporarily when I want to make changes?

Am I also right in thinking that I need a new license per sub domain site, but not if I’m using folders to separate them?

Side question: I know I’ll have to do manual X theme updates for multisite, how about the plugins/extensions such as ConvertPlug and the Mailchimp addon? Will this be manual too (if so, where can I find the files) or can this be updated automatically?

    Thanks

    Hi Dean,

    You’re welcome!
Single licence is only valid to the domain and its sub directories, e.g. domain.com/sub-directory. If you setup a different domain or a sub-domain e.g. site1.domain.com, you’ll need to purchase a separate licence for that.

For more detail, please review this post: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/subdomain-licensing-question/#post-179487

Plugins can updated automatically as long as X is installed on the main site and it is validated.

    Hope this helps.
