chill986ParticipantI’ve used ConvertPlug on another site, and it’s great, but trying to add a modal on a site now, and when I go to the design page, there’s no modal edit area in the middle like I would expect (I’m using the blank template), and I see the “convertplug preview” page with a “server error – 404” at the bottom of the page.
Happy to give my credentials – I’m hoping you have the ConvertPlug guys here to help with troubleshooting. We were hoping to launch the site on Monday. Thanks for any help you can give me.

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in and yes please provide your credentials in private reply.
You may also contact your hosting provider, most case like this are hosting’s security blocking specific URL or request.
Thanks!

chill986ParticipantSame server, unlikely one would be blocked and another not – plus they have the same URL. We are underdevelopment, and there is no domain pointing to the nameservers yet – can you do a nano /etc/hosts with the domain name? I can give you credentials if you can, but no reason really to do credentials if you are unable to point the domain to the IP address locally.

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, please provide the hosts file entries needed. And the login credentials too. But I can’t promise any solution since it’s not even live. It could be pointing to different URL, but I like to check it.
Thanks!
