beyondthelamppostParticipantHi,
I have installed the ConvertPlug plugin that came as an addon with X theme and am trying to get an exit intent modal working. The form comes up, but when I fill it in as a trial run, it doesn’t work. When I click subscribe the popup shows that it is processing, but then does not redirect to the success url or bring up the error message. It just goes back to the popup.
Can you advise what I can do to get this working?
Thanks!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I have checked your modal setp and it seems correct.
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes.

beyondthelamppostParticipantHi,
I’ve deactivated all plugins except ConvertPlug and the MailerLite connect addon, and I still get the same issue.

LelyModeratorHi There,
I got this error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
Would you mind checking if your main server IP address is not blocked on Mailchimp network?March 15, 2017 at 8:22 pm #1408943
beyondthelamppostParticipantSorry, I’m not sure I understand your question. I use MailerLite, not Mailchimp. When I turned my plugins back on I forgot to reactivate the MailerLite plugin. Could that have caused the problem? It is turned back on now. If that would not explain the problem, could you please tell me how to check it?

RadModeratorHi there,
You can check that through browser developer tools like from chrome browser https://developer.chrome.com/devtools. Then head to Network > XHR tab and submit a form to a test, then you’ll see a request from admin-ajax.php, wait till the submission is finished and its result will be -1. If you’ll check the Headers information from the response, it says Status Code:403 Forbidden. Please check this http://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/201-admin-ajax-blocked too.
The problem with status code is that you can’t easily trace what causing it, unlike error, errors could be logged or displayed. It’s best to check your site’s security if it’s blocking something.
Thanks!
