    Hi,

I am trying to use Convertplug with MailChimp and have never been able to make it work. At this point I am using a modal inline box to collect email addresses. You can see it on this page:

    http://www.goodlivingwarehouse.com/shop/vendors/garden-of-life/raw-gluten-free-support-garden-of-life/

When I try to add my email to test, I get a “something went wrong, please try again” error, at which point the email address is added to my convertplug “connects” list, but not my mailchimp list. In fact, I never receive the validation email from mailchimp at all.

Is there a way you can tell what’s going on?

    Thanks! Mark

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

Would you my deleting your current campaign and re-connect your MailChimp account?

Then please provide the information you used to register a MailChimp campaign under connect section. I will be deleting and reconnect your MailChimp.

    Thanks!

After deleting all my campaigns and the plugin, and reinstalling the plugin from scratch, all the previous “connects” lists and connections reappeared upon activating the plugin again. I was never prompted to reconnect mailchimp so I’m not sure how to accomplish this.

I am also still getting the original error.

    Hi there,

I created new Mailchimp API and reconnected it, then I went ahead to your Mailchimp account and deleted the List’s form First Name field. Your modal popup has only one field and it’s email, hence, your Mailchimp’s form setting should be the same too.

then I tested it here http://www.goodlivingwarehouse.com/11-natural-ways-to-prevent-breast-cancer-according-to-science/ and it’s now working.

    Thanks!
