shaunolverParticipantHi There,
I Installed Convert Plug today using the x addons page and the plugin installs absolutely fine. I’m having trouble installing the mailchimp addon though for the plugin. I get the error “Something went wrong! Contact plugin author.” I’ve already tried removing the plugin and re-installing again but with no success.
Info:
Wordpress Version 4.5
X Theme Version 4.4.2
Cornerstone Version 1.2.4
Convert Plug Version 2.2.0Thanks in advance,
Shaun

Paul RModeratorHi Shaun,
Thank you for providing your login credentials.
I was able to login then tried to install mailchimp extension.
It went well without issues.

shaunolverParticipantHi There,
It’s not the Mailchimp extension that I’m looking to get installed. I’m after the Mailchimp addon to the plugin “ConvertPlug”
If you navigate to: Dashboard > ConvertPlug > Addons > Mailchimp > Install, you’ll see the error.
I’ve attached an image for your reference.
Thanks!
Shaun.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. I can see you are using a security plugin that might preventing it to install addons. The following configuration is recommended for using ConvertPlug, which is very general on most of the hosts and recommended by WordPress itself.
Server – PHP – 5.4+ – cURL Module – Enabled – PHP Memory – 128 MB+ WordPress – Latest available version of WordPress – WordPress Memory – 128 MB+ set in “wp-config.php” 965So let’s check for this and deactivate the security plugin and try again.
Cheers!

shaunolverParticipantHi there,
So first off I disabled our security plugin and cache plugin and still got the same error. I’ve since then disabled all plugins and still get the same problem. For whatever reason, I’ve been able to install addons with other plugins so I’m not so sure it is our security plugin. Is there not a way to get an installable zip file that I can upload to WordPress manually?
Thanks.
Shaun.
