Hello,
I have been able to style Contact Form 7 forms without many issues, but I can’t figure out how to change the text for the submit button. I customized buttons in X Theme to say “Send”, but the code for CF7 doesn’t overwrite this (see the two attached images). I want the button to say something else, such as “Request Info”.
I don’t have the form live on my site yet because I don’t want the button to say send, but my site URL is:
moultonkettlebellclub.com
Thank you for any info!

Instead of inserting the CF7 shortcode to the text element, you can insert the CF7 element to your page:
Let us know how it goes!
January 26, 2016 at 12:51 pm #765430That doesn’t work because of the styling I applied to the form. For some reason, when using the CF7 element, it doesn’t pick up that styling. Please look at the same page now – I left Section 2 to show you what I mean. Also, the button still reads “Send” even though that is not what is in the code for the form.
It appears that the button text is being overwritten by the default button code for the X theme.

Thanks for writing back. You need to place the Class/ID before the Button Text. I have changed the order and it’s showing fine.
You can follow this to check and we always recommend to check documentation first if you face any issue – http://contactform7.com/submit-button/
Cheers!
