May 26, 2016 at 10:17 am #1011240Hi there,
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.May 26, 2016 at 10:24 am #1011253This reply has been marked as private.May 26, 2016 at 11:37 am #1011366Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Meanwhile, a quick search tool me to a WordPress forum which might have a solution to your issue : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-contact-form-7-not-working-with-wordpress-34?replies=4
Thank you for your understanding.
May 26, 2016 at 11:49 am #1011386Hi. However, I don’t have any third party plugins or script. I only have Rev slider and Grid Ess that came with X Theme. Anything else that was hanging out in the installed plugins area I deleted.
Can you please take another look?
Thanks!!
May 26, 2016 at 1:23 pm #1011519Hi there,
I spent some good time looking and performing some tests and I believe this is related to your hosting account.
Could you please provide us your Cpanel /Host/ FTP Credentials in a private message?
And one more question, please test if you receive any notifications of wordpress on your email like someone subscribe or make a comment to your website and let us know as well. – For that make sure you have your email set up correctly at wordpress settings.
Thanks,
Joao

It appears that you haven’t setup the reCAPTCHA. You can find this setting in Contact > Integration. You must configure the keys. To know more about it, please check this out:

May 26, 2016 at 8:42 pm #1012134Hi. I followed all of the instructions and still receive the same error message. I set up ReCaptcha, followed the instructions on the link you provided and still the same error message.
Can you please use the X Theme WP credentials I provided to you in the private email and take a look at my configuration?
Thanks so much!
May 26, 2016 at 8:52 pm #1012210p.s. In addition, while I was testing the form the reCAPTCHA button was there. Now, even though I have the reCAPTCHA short code in the form, the button is gone. p.s. I am a newbie so this is going in a bad direction for me…. going to be over my head any minute now. 🙂

May 27, 2016 at 5:29 pm #1013589Hi there,
Looks like an issue with your contact form 7, it throws that error with or without captcha. Unfortunately, CF7 is a 3rd party plugin which we’re not familiar with its inner functionality. It’s best to direct this issue to the plugin’s developer.
For the meantime, please try re-installing your CF7.
I don’t have this CF7 issue on my installation, it’s not related to theme or cornerstone.
Thanks!
