Hi there, every time I try to send a message through the Edge browser an error occurs which prevents the message from being sent. The notification that appears is:
“Sorry, there was an error. Please be sure JavaScript and Cookies are enabled in your browser and try again.” Screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/2dhHU
The Edge browser is running the latest version and Javascript and cookies are enabled. I already tested the form on other devices and the same issue occurs. It seems to be working fine in all the other major browsers. Edge is becoming a default and popular browser for many, so it’s really important for me to get it working properly!
Do you know what could be going on?

Thanks for writing in! Are using WP – Spamshield? You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Ok, I have found the source of the problem. It indeed seemed to have been caused by the plugin WP-SpamShield as you suggested!
I still need a way to prevent spam from attacking the contact form. Is there any alternative plugin or solution that you can recommend for this that also works across all browsers?

Hi, I deleted and then re-activated the WP-SpamShield plugin and it started working just fine with CF7 accross all browsers 🙂
