ccwadsworthParticipantI am not able to see the new products I have created when I go to WooCommerce | Products on my dashboard.
I can see that I have 11 products, but only 4 are showing up. I contacted WooCommerce and they sent me the following:It seems that the issue with the theme you have used in your site, or more specifically, your child theme. Your WooCommerce System Status report: Overrides: Your theme has a woocommerce.php file you will not be able to override the woocommerce/archive-product.php custom template since woocommerce.php has priority over archive-product.php. This is intended to prevent display issues. So, the issue is that since your theme has a woocommerce.php file, the archive-product.php file was not being fired correctly, thus resulting in issues. You can fix this by removing the woocommerce.php file from your child theme.
Does this sound right to you and what is the best way to handle this? Thank you!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I’m using the same version of woocommerce but couldn’t replicate the issue on my local site.
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.Let us know how it goes.

ccwadsworthParticipantSo, I can’t simply remove the file?
And BTW – it isn’t a conflict with a plugin; I believe it is the issue that was identified in my original message.March 6, 2017 at 7:01 am #1396154
ChristopherModeratorHi there,
By default there is no woocommerce.php file in child theme.
Have you modified woocommerce.php file inside child theme? Please activate parent theme and check if it solve the issue. If it solves the issue, you’ll know that the customized file was causing the problem, in this case connect to FTP and remove that file from host files.Hope it helps.

ccwadsworthParticipantExcellent suggestion, thank you!
I tested the parent theme and all of the products showed up.
So, do you have any idea how I locate the woocommerce.php file in my child theme via ftp??UPDATE: I just replaced the functions.php file with the original file. There was an update I made in that file, which was recommended to me to hide certain categories from the shop page. This has fixed the issue. Thank you for your help!
