I’ve only been using WordPress for a short time so please bear with me. My website http://www.polk.work is a job board in Central Florida. After suffering a traumatic brain injury last June and losing my web developer, the guys and gals at WP Job Manager have been extremely helpful in getting my site very close to where I want it to be. But I’m struggling with a few things and thought I’d reach out to see if someone was willing to point me in the right direction.

The WPJM plugin is working beautifully. I also have the Indeed and ZipRecruiter add-ons. Those plugins are configured to integrate jobs from their respective sites after my own posts. The problem is their posts are not being listed with my posts without clicking the “show more jobs” button or by date. If I use their shortcodes the posts are ordered by date but are listed entirely separate from mine. I’ve talked to WPJM and this is a known issue with no fix. I’ve looked in to adding a sort by date or relevance button but have also been told this is not possible. The only thing I’ve been able to come up with is using the WPJM shortcode [jobs] along with the ZipRecruiter [ziprecruiter_jobs] and Indeed [indeed_jobs] shortcodes concurrently. Hopefully that will put all posts in one list and in order by descending date. The next option that came to mind was not using the shortcodes and adding something to functions.php in my X child theme. I would greatly appreciate any input or ideas.

    I’m running:
    WordPress 4.7.2
    X Child Theme 1.0.0
    Cornerstone 1.3.3
WP Job Manager – Version 1.25.2
WP Job Manager – Indeed Integration Version 2.1.11
WP Job Manager – ZipRecruiter Integration Version 1.0.0

    Hey there,

Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your third party plugin customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

    Thank you for your understanding.
