Is it possible to have a row with 2 columns but make one column full width and the other in a container?

I am not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. In case I dont answer your question, please provide a mock-up of what you are trying to achieve.
I would do like that: Click on the row where the columns are placed and turn on margin less columns.
On one of this columns, I would add to the style box of the column: margin: 10%;
