Is there a way to build a website similar to: https://www.tradesy.com/ with the X theme?

I’ve got it all figure out except for the user database/input of products.

Not looking for WooCommerce.

I would like more of a Craigslist setup, where people can create an account, login and post their own items to the database using a pre-made template.

Buddypress is great, but it doesn’t offer a classifieds option.

Thanks for writing back!

X doesn’t provide membership functionality. It’s more a plugin’s territory. You might want to try S2Member plugin that provides memberships options. However, we cannot guarantee the compatibility of 3rd party plugins as we do not support them.

Yes, that is possible. Cornerstone is now a standalone plugin which you can get a license here:
http://codecanyon.net/item/cornerstone-the-wordpress-page-builder/15518868

With Cornerstone, you can build pages even if you are using another theme.
