I am using the Classic Mode, Visual Composer and cannot seem to get the “drag to reorder to work”. All. I grab the upper left hand corner and the box seems like it wants to move, but when I “drop” it in the correct spot, it goes back to where it started 🙁 I am working on a Mac in Firefox. I’ve also tried Chrome. No luck. Help?!

Please make sure you have updated version of X theme and X shortcode which is 2.3.5 and 2.4.0

Would you mind providing login access to your site so I can also check and investigate on your issue.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for the information, You’re still using X theme 2.3.0 and X Shortcode 2.0.8

Please update your X theme to 2.4.0 and X shortcode to 2.3.5.

OK, I’ve updated my site with the files from the “x” folder. Following the directions from the above link. My short code was already current.
But, I still cannot “drag to reorder”.
I downloaded the new “x” files and I drug just the “x” folder into my ftp window to replace the old “x” folder. Hopefully I did that right.

Just check you site again and can see you still have 2.0.8 X shortcode plugin. Please update it to 2.3.5 to and see if your issue persist.

I went to dashboard “updates” and hit “check again”. Is there something else I should do to update shortcodes?

Please review this KB article – http://theme.co/x/member/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/. For versions older than 2.2.0, you will need to delete the folder with the plugin and install the new version of the plugin.

ok. new shortcodes are installed. I still cannot reorder my content boxes on the summer camp page. I am working on a new page (older adult) and eveyrthing is dragging and dropping just fine.

I was able to go to this page http://www.wellspringinterfaith.org/newsite/wp-admin/post.php?post=5782&action=edit and in the backend editor drag and drop just fine. Could you double check and if the issue persists maybe record a quick screencast of the issue. Screencast-o-matic – http://screencast-o-matic.com/ will allow you to do this from the browser. Another thing we can check is the version number of chrome or firefox and check that it is the latest version. I hope this helps.
