Hi there,

I’ve just downloaded a child theme, something I haven’t used before. I’ve made various customisations in the main theme over the past couple of years of using the template. Do I simply copy and paste those customisations into the child theme and then remove them from the main theme?

Hi there,

Please download modified files from x folder and upload them in the exact path inside x-child folder.
e.g:
Assume that you’ve modified _topbar.php file which is located under x/framework/views/general, you should upload this file in x-child/framework/views/general.

Please do not remove files from x folder as it breaks your site, files will be overwritten in the next update.
