In the beginning stages of building site and have this alert when WooCommerce plugin is installed.

Your theme (X – Child Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

Hi There,

X theme is not compatible with the WooCommerce v2.7 yet.

Please downgrade to the v2.6.9 https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.2.6.9.zip

Another quick question… In my Shop, the category and products headings are huge on the page compared to the demo shops. Is there a way for me to reduce the font sizes on them?

Oh and on my shop page I’d also like the right column to show the categories/filters etc as in the Ethos 1 demo. And while I’m at it how do I turn off the top carousel slider above the menu on this page and other pages I don’t want it displayed on?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! To control the font-size and hide post carousel from shop, you can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

.product-category h3 {
	font-size: 20px;
}
.woocommerce.archive .x-post-carousel {
	display: none;
}

And yo can add the widget on sidebar from Appearance > Widgets.
